I don’t know how many folks still use business cards, at least in my line of work, but I like them. They don’t really cost all that much and are a great way to make a good first impression. Even if someone takes a quick glance and then throws it in a desk drawer, there is always that chance they will find it one day and call you up. Ive actually had it happen. Anyways, Ive been out of cards for months and months and now that I have my new branding, I got my act together and got some printed. In addition to that, I even had a custom die stamp made and had them blind debossed yesterday at K2Forma here in town. Im totally pro now.
Meet me out somewhere and Ill hand you one but in the meantime, Ill always be checking email…
Things have been going full-bore here and there will be lots of new work coming out very soon in addition to a new reel for some motion work. In addition, I am going to have my work in Workbook and a system-wide update with all sorts of new stuff.
In the mean time, I have a new logo and that is the first part of the all the new awesomeness. Stay posted for much, much more. But first, I have to go to Oktoberfest…
Just a quick update from Manhattan bit I couldn’t have picked better weather for my visit. It’s 75, sunny and everyone is out and about and in a great mood, which is a good thing when you are showing portfolios and blathering on about work.
Went to the Modern Farmer magazine launch party last night and it was a damn blast. Thanks to Ann Marie and the rest of the staff for what they are doing there. It takes some serious stones to start a brand new magazine in this day and age. Thanks to them for bringing me onboard and letting me shoot a feature for the first edition.
Here is a quick shot of the opener to my feature and the images look great and the story is well written. The magazine should be carried at whole foods and a few other retailers so, go pick up a copy and hell support the magazine.
